The time has come for Sitges to get a true boutique design hotel. The construction of the Avenida Sofia Hotel & Spa has started. This new place to be in Sitges, Spain, should be ready its doors by the end of 2011.
Fabian Sanchez of Sitges Gastronomico comments; ’We started the project at the beginning of this yea, and after months of digging and laying the foundations we are on the second floor with the construction. It is very exciting to see the progress we are making, especially knowing what the property will be like in the end. It is time Sitges will offer something new in terms of hotel product. The conventional hotels it has known up till now are out of date. The Avenida Sofia Hotel & Spa will be a refreshing icon in terms of hospitality and nightlife in Sitges'.
EThe Avenida Sofia Hotel & Spa is going to be a trendy wellness hotel. The boutique will combine chic and innovative design and feature unique furniture. It will count 78 guest rooms, a modern restaurant, fashionable bar, urban spa and the piece the resistance, a rooftop lounge and pool deck.
Fabian notes: ‘Imagine your day like this, a refreshing dive in the roof deck pool, and maybe a few laps to exercise, a healthy breakfast, a few hours on the beach in the morning, a relaxing massage in the afternoon or even a body scrub, dinner in an upbeat social ambiance and finishing of the night enjoying a glass of cava un the stars on our rooftop lounge. The Hotel Avenida Sofia will be all about relaxation and quality enjoyment.’
Hotel Avenida Sofia & Spa is scheduled to open at the end of 2011.
