Hotel San Sebastian Playa in Sitges, Spain, has launched a new website to be able to better service its guests. Sitges-Hoteles.com is a dynamic platform through including a blog, FaceBook, integration, reviews from TripAdvisor, etc...
Fabian Sanchez of Sitges Gastronomico comments, ‘The consumer of day and age wants more than just an online brochure. They use FaceBook and Twitter, write reviews of the hotels they stay at. As a hotel we have to offer a dynamic hotel website which is constantly up kept to date in terms of content, modules and integration of other platforms.’
Fabian continues; ‘We have launched the first version of our new website for Hotel San Sebastian Playa. It continues verifiable guest reviews which we integrating from TripAdvisor, an elaborate locations page with interactive direction and information on multiple forms of transport. We are now working on launching our blog, continuing earlier efforts as well as integrating our FaceBook page into the website (http://www.sitges-hoteles.com/facebook). We want to connect with consumers in different ways, using the various social media they prefer to use. We have no illusion people will only look at our website. Hence we provide openness and the ability to maneuver beyond.’
‘The Blog will be an online concierge for our hotel, Sitges and the Costa del Garraf. It will feature local festivals, restaurant recommendations, nightlife tips and activities that can be undertaken. The blog will support Sitges as a year round tourism destination through the various seasons.’ Fabian notes.
He finishes; ‘Shortly we will be adding more information on our property under construction, the Avenida Sofia Hotel and Spa. This boutique design hotel will change dramatically the quality of hotel offer in Sitges and the Costa del Garraf.’
